SESCO™ (surfactant enhanced ex-situ chemical oxidation) process uses biodegradable, food-grade surfactant (VeruSOL™) (consisting of a U.S. FDA-GRAS mixture of citrus-based cosolvents and plant oil-based surfactants) and oxidant combination to treat contaminated soil ex-Situ. Stock pilled soil is sprayed with VeruSOLVE solution and tilled through mechanical means (pug mill etc).
